Class 35 Locomotive
101 of these locos were built between 1961 and 1964 by Beyer Peacock.
Powered by a Maybach MD 870 engine through a Mekydro hydraulic transmission, it delivered 1700 hp at 1500 rpm.
With an overall weight of 77 tonnes, it had a maximum speed of 90 mph. Maximum TE was 46600 lbf with a Continuous TE at 12.5 mph of 33950 lbf. It provided a steam powered train heating system.
Our model has is a full body moulding mounted on detailed cast bogies with 2 off motor on each bogie.
